Imsimbi Training and Meriting Youth Development

Free Job readiness two-month programme for unemployed youth

Meriting Youth Development a registered NPO together with Imsimbi Training are providing 250 bursaries a year to unemployed black youth from underprivileged backgrounds. We are offering the Business Administration Services L4 qualification and the Project Management L5 qualification for unemployed black youth as part of an initiative to provide free training courses to unemployed youth who cannot afford to pay for the courses.

These courses are designed for unemployed youth wishing to receive job readiness skills and to help them gain entry into the workplace. It is a two-month programme where unemployed youth learn a number of practical work-based skills with the intention of helping them gain employment after the two-month course.

We believe young people attending this course will help them go a long way to making them ready to enter the world of work. Meriting also assists the young people in finding them jobs, by placing them with companies or organizations. We have trained over 900 youths in this programme thus far since 2013. Over 450 youth have been placed in jobs or found jobs.

Hendrik Beukman
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I am writing this letter of recommendation for Imsimbi’s course on Emotional intelligence. I hope my perspective will be helpful to you as you evaluate this exceptional course. During the course I discovered myself and my inner strength. Their creative ideas for presentations and activities were inventive, entertaining and very effective. This experience had a profound effect on my life, not only did my self-confidence improve but also the way I see the future. Change does not come overnight but if you have a good and solid foundation you are bound for success in both your personal and professional life. This course vital for management and leadership development, I have the greatest admiration for their work and can recommend this course to any one that is looking to better themselves both personally and professionally. I urge you to carefully consider this course in the development for future leaders.
