Understanding the New Grant Regulations

When the Skills Development Levies Act was passed in 1999 it was stated that even as the first phase of the Levies would focus on the quantity of training delivered, the shift to quality would take place in due course. This is the central underpinning shift that these grant regulations attempt bring about. The emphasis of the Minister is now on the delivery of quality training to achieve a skilled work force.
